ELPRIMO QUENCHING OIL is a specialized oil designed for the uniform hardening of carbon and alloy steels. With its highly refined paraffinic base, this oil offers low viscosity, allowing for quick oil circulation during heat transfer. This results in rapid quenching, reduced drag-out, and fast draining, leading to minimized oil losses during operation.

Application:
ELPRIMO QUENCHING OIL is suitable for various heat-treating applications that involve quenching or rapid cooling of carbon and alloy steels. It is particularly useful in heat treatment processes that aim for uniform hardening of steel with minimal distortion and coloration. Additionally, it is suitable for slow quenching operations at bath temperatures ranging from 30°C to 65°C, where achieving maximum hardness is not necessary.
