MARINE 2040
MARINE 2040 are high-performance trunk piston engine oils designed for medium-speed marine and industrial trunk piston engines operating on low-sulfur distillate fuel. These oils are formulated by blending solvent-refined high viscosity index paraffin mineral base oils with chemical additives that offer excellent alkalinity, wear resistance, detergency, and dispersancy properties.

Application:
MARINE 2040 oils are specifically recommended for crankcase lubrication in medium-speed marine-type diesel engines. Additionally, they are suitable for use in large crosshead-type engines under severe service conditions, where they can be used for both bearing lubrication and piston cooling, provided that the appropriate viscosity grades are chosen.
